What to feed fishes?

Hi! I'm new to marine fish keeping and my fren is going overseas so he gave me his nano tank with a domino damsel, Four Stripe Damsel, Yellow Tail Blue Damsel and a picasso trigger. I was given a can of New Life Spectrum pellets. Is this enough? What other food can be given?

u can try mysis shrimp, brine shrimp n a whole lot u can get from LFS dat specialise in marine...

How big is the picasso and the nano? If the tank is all yours now I think ti would be a good idea to rehouse the picasso or he might just want to make mincemeat of the damsels one day. Or the domino might do that.

To answer your question a good flake food is okay plus some meaty defrosted foods once in a while. And if you change water with salt mix remember to mix the salt by powerhead at least for six hours.

When the trigger has ran out of small fish to eat in the nano you can feed it with your fingers.

i'm actually thinking of giving up the fishes for "adoption" and starting again with new fishes that are more suitable for a nano. This picasso is still very small now, about 2 inches, but he is very pecky... he pecks on my rock and even on my thermometer

how often do u guys feed ur fishes? Once a day or twice a day?

i feed as and when i like...maybe 2~3 times a day? sometimes once la... depends on my mood... hahaha but each time only a few pellets... but tat is bcos i've only got a damsel and a clown only, usually the supper meal is the biggest...
