Regenerating Seachem Purigen

Has anyone tried the regeneration process for Seachem Purigen?

I have tried bleaching it base on instructions by Seachem.

But dun seem to be able to get 100% or anywhere close to it kind of regeneration. More than 70% of the beads are still dark brown. Have soaked for 48 Hrs without success and now doing so with new bleach for another 24Hrs.

I use ozone generator for this purpose, it's shinning light beige color after 3 hrs.
