using an extrema for cl280 , great for my tank too . if u estimate the head loss and pipe friction , the flow is just about there when it reach my chiller .

agree with may/bruce to use >2000l/hrs

2x1.5x1.5 tank

Lighting: AI hydra 52HD

Skimmer: Deltec SC 1455

Reactor: Minimax; rowaphos

Skimz  ; NP biopellets

Wave Maker: MP 40 WQD

Return pump: Eheim 1262

Chiller: Arctica 1/10 hp

yep, via cut in/cut out time, but I am not sure what is optimum. If cut in & cut out every few minutes then it is not optimum. Also if it is on for a l,ong time also obviously not optimum.

My chiller cuts in about every 30 minutes, for 5-10 mins every time. I think that is pretty reaosnable.

Real reefs don't have glass bottoms....(...think about it)
