i had experiences with hermit. If they are given a bigger empty shell, they will grow bigger. If they remain at the shell (small) den they will remain small. Usually they will reside on the turbo snail's shells if they snail is dead. Hope this helps.

Thats true....if the have outgrown their shells and cant find suitable ones, they might attack the turbo snails for the shell. Heard they'll die if they outgrow their shells and cant find any replacement. Is that true?

well if you have snails, you could just wait for it to kill them off and take over the shell :P..

thats what happened to me last time :(. I even had few empty shells but it just liked tha snail's one :cry2: ..

maybe just like humans.. There are lots of empty flats at certain areas but we choose ones that are resale. :P
