Changing of Pumps with similar return tube size??

I'm currently using a Rio 32f. Just wondering if I change to another brand, which are similar ones? I'm talking about the size of the return tube/hose. The Rio23f requires the huge eheim hose (not sure what size but I thnk the biggest. 25-30mm?)

What about the Eheim 1262, 1260, OR6500(maybe a bit out of the budget )? are they also using the same sized return? Any other brands?

Also which are the less hot kind.. My Rio is warm.. If I can find a similar sized output and flow rate with a lesser wattage, would it help in heat?

Hmm.. don't really see this very often.. usually the small ones. Not many recommendations for this too.

Aqumart now bringing in the whole range, I'm using it and no issue with the heat. Price wise about the same with RIO and wattage same with ehiem.
