Chromis?

I am about to intro live fishes. Was advised chromis? But I do not really like its colour...too plain. any better choice? like true percula, ok?

false percula cheaper. But Percula clown are actually belonging to the family of damselfish therefore clowns are reasonably hardy, and can take the stress. If you want them in your tank, why not? Any they are ok with most other fishes so they are great 1st introduction to start the tank.

I added 2 Green Chromis to my nano couple of weeks ago... they are extremely hardy and active. Colour wise... yeah a bit plain compared to Percula, but if you have shoal of them, they can be quite spectacular.

But according to some bros, Chromis will not group anymore when they grow bigger, they tend to grow very fast and eat like "pigs". So that's the downside of Chromis I guess.

For my new tank... I will not get more Chromis but try Anthias instead... hope this helps!

That is according to a bro... he suggested me to go for Anthias instead... so I will not buy anymore Chromis.

You got a big tank, school of chromis or/and anthias looks good. But got to feed regularly. However not all anthias feed easily and thus, may not be an easy fish to keep.

The only problem with much feedings is nutrients that may cause algae blooms.

Got to check your skimmer regularly and use phos removal media and activated carbon
