Aba-Aba Knifefish

Hi fellow reefers!

Saw this freshwater fish yesterday in Qianhu... was very interested by it, think it looks very unique and thinking of keeping it, but am trying to find out more about its aquarium needs..

Anyone kept it before? Can share your experiences? Would like to know more especially its water parameters needed and feeding matters etc.

And is it a very rare fish? Cos I don't remember seeing it in local freshwater LFSes before leh... Qianhu is currently selling the tiny specimens for $10. Is it reasonable price?

The fish look huge, are you the guy who recently ordered a 30Ft aquarium on the radio and the contractor offer his manta ray, killer whales, etc

hm... its a very territorial fish... (spelling error?) and it grows rather large... and!!! for wat i know its a very hardy fish! 10 bucks is still ok lah... i dun know so much about water parameters ... food? eats all sorts of fishy tat can fit in its MOUTH! a hungry ghost too.
