red algae

seems like red algae growing at the surface of my sandbed.

what is it?

how to remove it and is it harmful to fish or corals?

need help from u experts.

looks like this? if it does? then bad news, u've got cyanobacteria! too much phosphates in the water... get Red Slime Remover but dose correctly.. worked best for me! reduce feeding and upgrade skimmer if necessary.

heard of the new product... Contraphos? bawater i think has done a review of it in the reviews forum... just use that... available in PR for now only i think... u can get rowaphos which is damn expensive too actually..
