correct me if i am wrong... bro your skimmer is placed too low.. the base of the collection cup should be the same level as the water surface :D

You are right bro... what are you trying to skim bro? :lol::lol::lol: You must allow the bubble to form at the bottom of the neck (of collection cup)... once the foam accumulates... they will be pushed up slowly into the collection cup.

haha ok since we are on the skimmer topic ... sorry aR borrow your thread :P i got this skimmer (turbo skimmer) not the fancy fancy exp one u guys are having but it runs on a 2000L atman pump .. there are bubbles but all the bubbles get stuck on the cap .. so there are little or no skimmate being formed ... and u knoe that funnal thingy where all the bubbles get concentrated ? that part get darker and darker by the day ... a

nyone knoe watz wrong with my skimmer ?

Yes too dry!!! Maybe your water level is too low... try increase the water level by 1cm... you can see the difference in an hour or two... is your air inlet being controlled or full force? Limiting air can also cause the skimmate to turn dryer <_<
