hi guys i need some help....how to use UV sterilizer?izzit submerge the UV in the water?must it have any piping for the inlet of the UV?

Don't think can submerge. All UV filters have two pipe connectors. Just connect one end to a pump in your sump or tank and the other end return back to the same.

do not do that or u will get electrocuted

it should be place in dry surrounding. the input should be connected to a pump in yr sump via tubing or if u hv an external filter , connect the input to the output of the filter.

the output of the UV should transfer the disinfected water back to the sump or can also straight to the man tank.

most UV filters come with instructions please chk them.

for it to be effective , the flow should be slow but not too slow . pls searchup more for more info on the internet .

hmmm sub or not it depends on the model.

the UV-C that i had previously had can be submerge.

U will need to run a pump on the unit , go with manuf. rating *usually on the box*

or otherwise run it on your return.
