shnapper20 Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 Im about to purchase my first clams, I have quarantined all my fish prior to placing them in the main tank. However with the clams I was going to give them a good visual inspection than place them in the main tank. My reasoning being it would be less stressful on the clams to acclimitise once to my main tank lighting, and they are less likely to carry itch than fish.
