aqua medic needle valve

hi, did anyone using this product to control the flow rate at their aqua medic CR1000 using t-off. It seem to be very difficult to control the flowrate to 1 - 4 drop per second using circ. pump with t-off. Had spend alot of time tune the valve still can get the flow constant. Had to give out , Did anyone had a better valve to control it...

it's not just the AM valves. most valves that are sold in SG are crappy. not precise enough. there are precision needle gate valve from the US but need to order in. the best valve so far that i've tried and works well for me , would be the clamp type. the same type HNS use for their skimmer air intakes. u can find them at gardian pharmacy at glenneagles hospital. cost about $1/-.

oh ya.... even those true ball valves from 2little fishes are not reliable, and they leak. they can't handle higher pressure while pinched down. if u do use this, make sure it's over the sump so not a problem even when it leaks.
