moi_dar
big_ben102000 Ok will work on it now... If the air is already in the cannister, can get it out or not?
SRC Member big_ben102000 Posted December 28, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted December 28, 2006 erm.. for mine there is a pump on the canister that can pump air out. i dont knoe how yours work. there will be a gushing sound when the pump is starting to get filled it water, after that all the bubbles will come out and the canister will be quiet. haha are u using a spray bar ? if u are then its abit weird leh. normally if the canister is ###### in air.. the bubbles will come out from all the holes of the spray bar, yours come out in a stream lolz.. sorry sis in this case i am not too sure wat the problem is. u might wanna check the pipe which water is being suck into the canister. see whether its tight and no air are getting in
SRC Member little bull Posted December 28, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted December 28, 2006 The cannister's tube seen like twisting ler.. or it looked like twisting huh?? I am quite sure it is something wrong with the cannister. Could be you have put too much of media or stuff like that inside caused the water stuck. (inlet and outlet inbalance) Why not you off your canniter and readjust the media inside, ensure it does not block the outlet.
SRC Member little bull Posted December 28, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted December 28, 2006 Another possibility is the twisting tube that block the outlet
SRC Member fishtalk1517 Posted December 28, 2006 SRC Member Share Posted December 28, 2006 could it be tat the bubbles from the outlet skimmer ? Quote A person, himself can be his own Lawyer, but he can never be his own Judge ........
hammy
well.. off ur skimmer for a while and u will know whether it is from ur skimmer. or either off ur canister for a while ... i guess most likely if from the skimmer . moi_dar
Went to the much aclaimed petmart at Serangoon North today. Boy, really brings back memories. I used to live there when I was still schooling. I remember back then, the shop was not as packed as now and sold fewer stuffs. Really missed the place. It is buslting with life now he he he. Went to check out the stands there. I think ambystoma82 is right. The $19.90 table might give way, so went down to ask for a quotation. Pity couldn't get a price yet, but the nice young man there told me he will inform me once he gets the quotation. Bought a packet of coralife salt mix from them I must say, the price there is really reasonable. A lot cheaper than where I got my other stuff. Hmmm... should have check out that place first Anyone know where else I can ask for a quotation to make a fish stand? Yellowbelly Doesn't take that much of time to look after the tank and I'm sure your little ones would love the tank too! Eventually grow up to take after you leh.
