Dear All

Just set up a new system yesterday :D

Everything run well except the overflow is very noisy.....sound like waterfall

Need help, else my wife will score as too lound until cannot sleep.

Could it be the return pump too strong?

thanks

couldnt bro, coz whatever water volume the pump returns to the main tank will be displaced to the overflow accordingly... any imbalance would end up with the main tank over flowing or the sump running dry....

cos that wat happen to my durso pipe leh. Some time if my return is slower than my out flow a bit the ###### sound will happen

Instead of the direct flow through pipe, he connect an inverted U-pipe, so water flow from below-up! understand? sorry do not know how to post photo yet... :P

you are welcome to see at my place..... :) stay in hougang

Sorry to tag along, but for external overflow box users, with 2 return holes down, = 2 ball valuve , box too small for a durso , and valve is diff to control, a little off , suction sound produce, a little closer, the water in box will be at brim.. :( any suggestion? Thanks, sorry to tag in.
