IOS 3ft tank

Need help,wants to know what filter,bioballs, or media I can place in this three chambers.

1) 1st chamber is the water suction at the bottom. Beside then filter media what

else can I place for filtering system?

2) 2nd chamber inted to keep liverock as a filter.

3) 3rd chamber for water overflow to sump tank or place a return pump back to

main tank. Can make this 3rd chamber as my new welcome fish,keep cheato,

or place a skimmer?

Since 1st chamber is the water inlet can I keep sand and place away from the suction. Already have this tank but still can't figure out whats the better system?

Confuse Otherwise get another normal tank to replace...

Can anyone help me how to place my filter or media in this first and second column? At the moment now I place live rock inside.. Its OK. I have a sump tank below..
