Lifted this somewhere here. Hope it helps.

Scientific name: Amplexidiscus sp.

Common name(s): Elephant Ear Coral

Tips on care: This species is one of the largest species offalse corals. It can reach almost a foot across in some cases.

Give it the same care as Rhodactis sp. and Discosoma sp. One word of caution, this coral may eat small fish that swim into its

stubby tentacles. This species needs a lot of room.

I use to have one, provide them medium or strong lighting. I use to place them at the bottom, which I think they love it, and they bloom well. But after a year, I shifted them to the right side of my tank which have a higher flow, and half of the mushroom was flying up by the current, and they shrink after that. Try not to place them at a high flow area, just gentle flow. They are great to observe. :lol: Saw one of them ate a cleaner shrimp before. But mine never happen. :lol:
