nano 24G tank

Hi ,

Interested to set an nano size tank something like JBJ nano cube 24G DX . I have some enquires about it . Without chiller am i able to keep zoos around 29 C temp . Or is it better to have one tank with sump setup .

Hi,

I believe most will recommend temperatures between 27 to 29.

BTW. It's very easy to add a chiller to the nanocube. Just cut holes in the back of the canopy.

I try to use my nano 24 gallon without chiller, it can spike to 34 dec C on the hot day main light on. Chiller is necessary, except you aircon is on 24 hours.

I keep my nano at 26 deg C, so far so good.

Do you have your aircon on all the time? I had my chiller set at 26 degs, but the outside of the tank had very bad condensation all the time. I switched it to 27 degs and it's fine now.

only at night, A/C on condensation came out if the room is fully closed. Usually I leave one window open for air circulation. The condensation is lesser. My water is hover betwe 25.8-26.5 C

Thanks for all the advise . I will still go ahead with the nano cube tank . As for temp , I don't have air -con so I will install chiller along the way .

Hi , I had read your other thread . I know now you using Artica 1/10 hp chiller . would like to check with you few question ?

1) where and how much you pay the chiller ?

2) What is your monthly increase bill due to using chiller ?

Currently in process of getting chiller so any advise from you will be a great help to me . Thanks
