Nice tank setup...a sleek and clean look. Love the two circular glass portholes on yr cabinet. But do remember to wipe the metal holder once in a while as those metals have black stains even though they're made of stainless steel or chrome, esp they're near a marine tank.

Do make sure those elect power socket strips are securely fixed at yr hood and sump areas as they are just above the tanks. l'm worried tt they may fall off and ended up in yr tank...

Keke Mag.. u tested the distilled water with TDS b4? I also considering switching to ordering distilled... a bit sian of always dripping water out of the DI unit sigh..

I tested the same polar water using my TDS meter before... absolutely 0ppm  In fact I use polar to counter-check my TDS meter nowadays :)

hi teo.. well beside jervis tread i also went thru all your posting in members tread. in fact i like your sump design very much.

at the moment im not using any chiller but there is a standby box(refer to earlier pic) for future plan.

told steve to install exhaust fan at the two big hole(will hv tinted glass plate to cover it)

my place is quite windy so hopefully when got no guest ill open up the cabinet door.

my main concern is pub bill..

well shall see how it goes later stage.

Your tank design is really nice. I like the clean cut look. :)

I won't worry too much about the PUB bill. For my tank, I estimated the extra PUB $ to be less than 100. You get'll use to it quickly. :D

My office get distilled water at $6.00 / 19 ltr..

May i know, can i run a 4ft tank fully using distilled water mixture with marine salt ? will it cycle faster ?

$6 per litre? Can share what's the coy too?

l'll be switching to this too...will save me alot of time and trouble.

As for yr tank, though i have no experience in this yet, i think it shd be ideal if you use 100% DI water w salt mix. But not sure abt it's effect on cycling though...
