Hi bro,

After searching high and low, finally got my 3ft tank from a nice reefer. :)

As it's my 1st time setting up, hope to have any comments/ feedbacks from you. Regards, good or bad so that i can improve on it! 1st time hand carry the tank, didnt realise that it was SO HEAVY :cry: , only got 1 of my buddy to help out... hand almost fall apart liao...... Pics was taken with a HP, might be abit blur.

U can try covered yr overflow compartment with black sticker & plastic..

It will invisible yr pipe & it look nicer ..

My wife prefer that way, says it looks more orginal, hehe.

Tried to run skimmer earlier on but :cry::cry: but think use too much strength, spoil the pump.

Equipments using atm;

(1) 3ft 2xT5 light set (Blue and white light)

(2) Skimmer with pump (Reef Octopus NW110)

(5) Resun Chiller (CL650) Thermostat not working :(

(6) 2 x Sieo 820

(7) Hailea return pump ( HX6560 )

(8) Skimz FR with Eheim return pump

Water perminter taken 2 hrs ago;

1) PH: 8.2

2) KH: 107.4

3) Amon: 0.5

4) Nitrite: 0ppm

5) Nitrate: 5-10ppm

Any where that i should improve on?

Kh MUST be maintain abt 7 - 10 at the most. Anyway 1st time hear kh so high.

Btw that skimmer in ur sump looks like a weipro to me and oso get a temperate controller if not ur electricity bill will be high. The noise is horrible kicking in and out

i think u are reading your KH wrongly bro, anyway six drops is 6dKH. so there you have it, your KH is 6! :) oh ya, my advice to you is repair your chiller or get a new one, how you going to run a chiller without any thermostat???
