Hi everybody,

can advice how you mixed your seawater like using what type of water, the procedure? thank.

hi clownfish.

well for me ill use distill h2o.

1-pour the distill h20(can but fr certain h20 company) into big tub

2-pour salt-using cup

3-test the salinity and fr there in future you will know roughly how much to pour

4-put in2 tub a pump to mix the salt(20mins++ depends on whether the salt alre disolved

5-pump out the same amout of h20 fr main tank as how much you pour into tub

6-use the same pump the new salt h20 into sump

Repeat the procedure if you intend to chg more h20.

So basically the equipments you need:

1-big tub/container

2-salt & distill h20

3-small pump

4-test kit for salinity

If you find the procedure leh cheh another easy method is buy nsw-than no need to do anything just pour straight into sump/tank.

Cheers..

my method is fairly simple..

1) use tap water thru my filter;

2) add salt to the correct salinity

3) Adjust ph by adding canned soda water...

Once PH and salinity is correct, add into tank then test for amonia, nitrate, nitrite, calcium etc and add in the various addictives to 'rebalance" the tank.
