SRC Member Limpc Posted December 7, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted December 7, 2007 The pix is not clear enuf, if you could take a macro shoot, mayb more pro bros will comment. It's a acan right ? Here my amateur view ...... From the pix, i can see pits, which may mean, the coral is not "opening" or worse case, the flesh is receding. On the right side, maybe clear indication of exposure of the "bones". Hence, i think the coral's healthy is in question. If you wanna save it from further receding, please it in low flow and right at bottom of tank, maybe away from direct MH. Just my 2 cents. giantbicycle
It is open but not to its fullnest. Skeleton exposing. a fully open acan will not show any skeleton and its flesh is fleshy and bumpy.

SRC Member Limpc Posted December 9, 2007 SRC Member Share Posted December 9, 2007 For mine, if its mood is good, tentacles will also show during daylight. That's when feeding the acan will be easy. Oh, I fed mine occasionally with mysis. Check this pix ... http://pets.webshots.com/photo/2099639350010821480WYsLMj cheers!
