Lionfish

Recommended Posts

Anyone can suggest the water flow rate on keeping a lionfish? I heard they hate strong flow. My tank is a 3 footer(50gal)FOWLR.

LS are 1 volitan Lionfish(4 inch), 1 clown, 1 moon wrasse, 1 blue damsel and a coral bandid shrimp.

Thanks.

Hi,

Although they hate strong flow, they are after all still found around the reef area thus I personally will go for a minimum of 10x 50gal but stay below 30x 50gal.
