Anemones Galore

Recommended Posts

IME,

A small, least demanding, PL lights OK, anemone is not available, besides the pest aiptasia. :D

They will not remain small for long but expand the biggest they can, grow quickly under ideal situations, they will demand for meaty foods, and if using PL lights, will climb on the highest rock they can find to be right under PL lights (sometimes not where you want them to be).

Not to sound discouraging, they are beautiful but will become a pain in the a$$ over time.

Thanks for all the answers.... just as what I expect :(

One of the reason I want an anemone is to keep my clown fish occupied so he will not go and disturb the feather duster worms.

Well......

Someday, somehow, somewhere, I will have at least a 4 feet tank ....

well.. anemone do not really need a clownfish to survive or vice versa.. u might consider other corals.. i have seen clown residing in finger corals as well...

Ceriathus anemones need to live in thick layer of mud and fine sand. It does not use light but relies on meaty food.
