tank setup

Hi got my tank running for 2 weeks plus already .

Tank = 4 x 2 x 2

equipment = reef octupus dn 200

return pump = aqua bee 6000

Skimz Fr = with sorb 4 ( 1 inch of media )

ph = about 8.6

Ammonia = close to 0

Nitrite = close to 0

Nirate = close to 0

i use the Aquarium Pharmaceuticals Inc saltwater master liquid test kit. the pack with all the above test kits. the colour of each result is near the result above thats why dun know is it safe.

however this is my scaping . i hope some one can help to give me more ideas to improve it.. ideas of this scaping is to make the right side where the pumps lying on the rock are to stack zoos or any nice corals to become a small mountain of zoos plus maybe mushies.

Your water paremeters missing out on Salinity, Phosphate & KH. If u intend to keep live corals whichever type they maybe u're gonna need a chiller first b4 anything else. And please hor get a chiller with the capacity to handle ur 4 footer. Have to take into consideration how big ur sump tank is also b4 u get the chiller. As for the scaping in my opinion theres too many tonga branches, looks very messy the scaping. As for CR, if u not keeping SPS forget about it just use dosing method good enuf. Denitrator if budget is a problem just get some mangroves and plant in sump(about 10 stalks with first stage leaves already grown). If budget no problemo then get a korallin or deltec.

Testkits go get Salifert ones lah more accurate cos they measure below 20ppm.
