damsels
Hi brothers, Just a simple question. Is T5 light good enough for keeping the following corals? My tank height is 2FT. LPS such as torch coral, hammer coral, bubble coral, elegance coral, and Soft Coral such as Leather and Colt If yes, what should be the recommended number of T5? 4 tubes ok? What intensity? Thanks! It is enough.U mus get the 24watts HO T5 2ft light.4 tubes okay but 6 tubes i think for LPS is too much.get 2 10 000K 1 Actinic and 1 Blue Plus which is ATI brand.Or make up your own choice. SRC Member Sapp Posted February 12, 2008 SRC Member Share Posted February 12, 2008 You also need to take note of your coral placement. LPS dun need a very strong source of light cos it might lead to bleaching... my pink hammer and green torch showed signs of bleaching when i placed them too near the lights - about half a feet.
