New Fish Under Stress!!

Stress is the topic....

Just introduced a 6" wrasses (Hope i spell correct). Looked like a parrot fish.

I think the fish is stressed out. First it lay on its side motionless for about an hour, then it decided to bury inself in the sand and cannot be seen again.

Decided to name him hoodini.

Any hope?? Any Cure??? Any one??? Please.......

P/S: All other fishes are having a ball of a time, except him.

Wrasses are know to bury themselve to rest one leh.. My yellow wrasse also disappear at night one.. Only day time then come out.. See if it comes out after a few days..

i think it's normal. actually it's great that it got the strength to bury itself.. ehehe

Wrasses bury themselves in the sand when they are stressed or going to sleep when the lights goes off.

Certain wraseses like Harlequins , Scissorstail and Hogfishes park themselves into rock crevices.

wait and see whether does it come out in the morning.. when i first introduce my yellow wrasse, it dive straight into the gravel and never come out till the next morning..

Think the wrasse died of heart attack in the middle of the night!

Found it in the morning on the breakfast table of my two boxer shrimp.

He is such a beauty, so sad he didn't make it.

i know how u feel.. i bought a potter's angel.. the only time i saw it was then it dashed into the rocks.. and never seen it again.. cost me $60 for a glimpse.. sigh..
