i was so annoyed to find so much clicking noise produced by the Aqua bee pump used on the NF511.

The pump got very hot and eventually will burn out

Equipment :

Return 1 : Ecotech marine L1

Return 2 : Ecotech marine M1

CR : Skimz CM122 - Caribsea extra course media with Grotech magnesium

Did U get an airlock? That usually stops the pump from taking in water and eventually burnout.

I am never that trusting of Aquabee pumps. Find them too weak to perform their task although energy consumption is lower.

i would agree to that statement, Deltec have been well known for quality , do not understand why they started using such lousy pumps .

used to be the good old ehiem , although it is bulky

Since you got it new from reefdepot, then go back to them. i believe Seet or the team will be happy to find out what is wrong.

I do not owned a Deltec denitrator but the calcium reactor. Had similar problem but i believe it is the pump That u use to direct water into the reactor is the main culprit. If the water in is not consistent then u likely to have this issue. If that is the case, get a dosing pump lor.

Anyway, chk with Reef depot lah.....

good luck.
