Chiller's return

Hi bros and sis, im planning to pump water from my 2nd compartment of my sump into my chiller, den the chiller's return back to the last compartment of my sump and pump back to the main tank via my main tank return pump...is this ok? will there be ne potential problem? will the water in the main tank be chilled fast enough? does tat depend on my main tank return pump oso?


Main tank: 4.5 x 2.5 x 2
Skimmer: Deltec AP701
Return pump: RD 6

Chiller: Daikin compressor with Titanium coil
Wavemaker: Jebao w-20, Maxspect Gyre xf150

Lighting: 8x54 ATI Sunpower Non-dimmable

Linked tank
Main tank: 2 x 1 x 2
Return: Eheim 1260
Lighting: AI Hydra 26 with controller
Wavemaker: Tunze 6025

Hi

I'm using the same way as u r instaed even morei spit out the main tank pump pipe into two one to the main tank and the other to the chiller but each output theres an knob to control the flow rate as for the chiller out put it goes back to the last portion of the sump where's the main pump is as for my termostat sensor is inside the main tank

dun think there should be any problem with the method you mentioned... as long as the return of the chiller is not before the chiller pump, you tank should be chilled at the normal rate.. IMO.. =]
