Help - problem with skimmer Deltec AP851

Hi,

My skimmer seem to be having some problem. It is no longer creating the swirl of currents/bubbles in the skimmer tank. Is it possible to repair this? Change certain parts, etc? Where can I get this repaired? Any idea how much this is going to cost?

Have u check u pump? It happened to me once, and I took out the pump part and clean, after fixed back it's works. Sometime maybe due to dirt trapped inside.

airline might be choke also, suggestion is to strip it apart and clean including the pump impellar, use vinegar

I had the same problem once. My Deltec APH525 had a fish trapped inside and the same issue you encounter.

Open the pump and check.

where u get the skimmer from? if the skimmer come from reefdepot then bring back to them.

or else they are not likely to do it for u.
