any clown fish

Anyone can please tell me why my clown fish does not want to host in my anemone??i have 3 anemones but the clown does not want to host in any one of them?

It's all hit and miss, they are individuals like you and me, if they don't like or don't want, there is nothing you can do to force them too

What kind of clown you have by the way? Some reefer mentioned to me that one breed of clowns don't really host, I don't remember which

i have a saddle back clown and 2 bubble tips and one anemone called chendol or something like that

Check your fish-anemone compatibility and make sure they are compatible. However, it only serves as a guide to increase chances of hosting. Even if they are listed as compatible, hosting is still not guaranteed.

for my true percs pair , they host in anything from leather to true octo but just refuse to host the bta,

i can move their home anywhere in the tank and next day you will see them finding and hosting it , now i also give up in letting them host the bta already , so long as the coral they are in is not irritated with them i'm fine
