DIY rainbar

I find that my sump input has a concentrated spot of water gushing down. would like to DIY a rainbar of sorts to spread the water over the entire tower itself.

anything to watch out for? must I seal the ends of the pipe to which I'm gonna turn into a rainpipe?

idea is to use a T joint to my sump input, and stick in a small pipe at the two ends. pipes will have holes obviously.

oh yah another thing, will DIY drill holes for me? and what size holes should I go for?

I have tried DIY drip plate using those rectangle disposable containers lid and cut holes in them using a hole puncher those used for leather belts. It works very well, you can vary the hole size in the middle with small ones and bigger ones on the sides.

I figured, you want more even distribution, so encourage water to flow thru out instead of concentrate on the centre where the inled feed.

Cheers
