I just read on the about.com forums that pencil urchins can actually catch and eat fish...small fish swim between the gaps in their spines, and they just close it to trap the fish, and they also eat animals like crabs because their spines are more flexible and enable them to move faster. Sounds like a horror story but it is believable. Anyone had a pencil urchin?
