Algae Eaters

Definitely tangs if your tank is big enough.

Blennies only bang their heads on the glass once in a while. After some time in the tank, they will just wait to be fed instead of eating algae.

Some damsels eat algae too.

if u talking abt algae on the rocks, u can try algae eating blenny.. this is the pic below..

tangs also control algae.. but those macro algae

Depends on what kind of algae. Sailfin tang type or genus Zebrasoma(Purple, yellow, etc) eats hair algae. Bristle teeth kind or genus Ctenochaetus (Chevron, Kole, etc) prefer to scrape diatom type algae from the rocks.

blue tangs prefer to go for those macro algae.. but i do see my blue tang doing some form of scraping on the rocks at times.

A bi-colour blenny is both quite cute and small (about 2 inch) and clears the glass of algae but can switch to dry food after a while. My Kole tang is quite hardworking eating algae off my LRs.
