mix them all you want. most hard corals and softies are fine together. they do produce chemicals to fight each other off, but will be removed by a skimmer and carbon along with water changes. SPS and certain softies like leather corals need a little more care.

but other than that, mix away my friend!

nothing comes cheap in this hobby. invest in good stuff for the long run. buy cheap test kits that may give inaccurate results will result in more losses. don't skimp out on important stuff like this. stuff like magnet cleaner, betta box, wan buy cheaper 1 is fine. but test kits, equipments, best to get better ones..

a good test kit will last you quite some time too, so its a good investment

relax....and watch the language. keep comments about branding and stuff to yourself in future... i happen to like cheap magnet cleaners. i have a boyu. although the magnet may be weaker and need a few wipes to clean off the diatom on glass, they are light and are very useful for cleaning hard to reach areas because of their easy maneuvering. moreover, they double up as a betta box holder.
