i suggest getting the powder series tang after u rescape and tank's biological system stablize.

if not, be prepared to see lots of ick.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

At 55gal, I would say yes to regal tang, but both fish will outgrow the tank very fast.

I won't recommend it with a powder brown tang. They are gonna whack each other real bad...

I do ever see one reefer with 6 powder blue... However with a 250 gal tank...

I've never tried power brown before, but I find powder blue easy, as long as u quarantine the fish first.

Best Regards,

Morpheous

won't reccomend a PBT in a 55gal. maybe a 90gal is more probable. they are very active and very fierce tangs, which do not do well in 55gal. they will wack other fishes once stablalised, so a small tang is a no no.

just got my first PBT yesterday. no experience with them but heard plenty to know they aren't very peaceful tangs.

powder brown is easier than powder blue.

speaks from my exp. hope i answered your qns

and you can try to keep. but do provide the best environment for it.

and keep in mind they will grow relatively fast.

and i bet you wont want to see yourself locked in a small cabinet forever. that if you get what i mean.
