Need ID for mantis shrimp

As per topic. i need an ID of this mantis shrimp.

If someone could come up with a exact species ID maybe i could find out more about it. im just curious.

spearer or smasher?

maybe i can drop in a big enough snail for a bit of cleanup.

i see. dunno the scientific name for this particular sp. maybe a clubber from the 2nd picture. but quite hard to see.

try this link.. Lots of diff mantis species here.. not familiar with Mantis too...your mantis possible still juvenile... but not advice to keep mantis in reef tank...

Agreed...I once received a mantis shrimp thru buying of LR.Before trapping it,i lost dunno how many innocent shrimp like the fire shrimp,cleaner shrimp even the boxing shrimp the mantis also wack...

the shrimp is in a 15/20 cm tank on its own. no worries.
