Crystal Pro 3 stages DI system

Recommended Posts

Hi all, juz bought a new set of the above DI system. However, after connecting all the pipes, i noticed leaking from the 3 containers when the water is on. I have already tightened the containers with the tool included and the water flow is slow. What may be the cause of the leakage?

i want to get this di system... is this system good? can you pm me how much you pay for this?

Get a second hand unit - around $70 - $100, then get hold of refillable cartridge and resins on your own. maybe approx another $70 - 80

The resins then can last you about 1 year + of WC for your tank size.

Dun get the original crystal pro cartridge... it last only about 2-3 months for your tank usage and cost about $80 to change 2 cartridge of resin.

Eqpt: Deltec MCE 600, Tunze 6055 with Tunze 7091 controller, Artica 1/15 HP chiller, AquaIllumination Sol Blue LED Light System

try teflon white tape. it helps.

If a man could beat his own fantasy. Then to only breed in captivity. Then its pointless.

Genesis 1:20

And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that has life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. And God created great whales, and every living creature that moves, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

I would like to find out also,

1) How long would it take to churn out 1 red pail of processed water?

2) How much discharged "waste" roughly for per red pail of processed water? something like 20 times? 30 times?

3) Can we reuse the discharged water for bathing etc?

Thanks!

Bro, this just DI. Not RO/DI. So

1) it takes about approx 5-10 mins to fill up pail of water.

2) no wastage. you are just forcing the water thru the resin.

3) as per (2), there is no discharge water.

Hmmm... So this process alone does reduce TDS? Can't google much about this model.

1. Does brandnew crystal pro comes with the original cartridges and resins? - yes. but bear in mind, they will last only about 2- 3 months usage for a nano type of tank water usage.

2. where can i get the cartridges and resins you mentioned from? any name, brand etc.?

I have posted some pics on my old thread on the refillable cartridge and resins.

As to how to get them.. ummm ... my only source is still through Peter Tee but unfortunately he is no longer active in this forum. If you are really keen, you can drop me a PM. I can help link you up with him.

Bro, do you still need to add anti-chlorine solution etc. and left the water for overnight, with the crystal pro?
