Hi to all Pico/Nano tank owners!

Its been 3yrs since I've decommissioned my 4footer.

Now after almost a year of settling down to my new place, I've decided to start a pico tank instead, due to space constraint.

Knowing that maintaining a pico and a big tank is different ways, I need you all experienced fellow reefers' precious advice and information as much as possible.

Can I have a few suggestions of the tank / equipments I should choose? :peace:

Im planning for a 1.5ft cube tank, will be housing a pair of true percs, a pair of griessingeri gobies and a pair of harlequin shrimps. LPS will be a suitable anemone. That's about the basic LSs I want.

Really appreciate the help and advice! thanks!

WB bro :)

Can check out DeLighting's 1.5ft tank setup. In my opinion, his package offers a balance btw $$ and quality.

Or can check out Jacky's current sumpless set-up, quite compact and should give you ample options.

my is just a 1.5 ft cube with a MCE 600 and a chiller pump in the tank.

I have a small bracket to hold the filter sock for mechanical filtration.

Chemical filtration takes place in the mce media compartment.

If you are getting a new one without sump, you can consider creating a small IOS to house a filter sock and your chiller pump.

then use the MCE 600 :)

Eqpt: Deltec MCE 600, Tunze 6055 with Tunze 7091 controller, Artica 1/15 HP chiller, AquaIllumination Sol Blue LED Light System

2011 resolution : Do it simpler, better and in an easier way!
