I was thinking of getting the Hydor Moonlight for my JBJ 24g desprite that the tank comes with built-in Moon Light, the right bulb has blown. If anybody is using it, would you let me know the effect of the moon light? Does it has a good spread on a nano-tank?

Thanks.

Hi Bro,

I have used before and find that it is well build and lasting. Hydor moonlight are meant to deliver spot lighting thus you should not expect it to have a good spread.

If you are looking for moonlight, another worth considering will be Hagen Marina LED Moon Light, I like it over the Hydor due to price, versatility and also the brightness of the LED.

Hi Mod, thanks for the info. Personally i like Hydor brand as i am using the Hydor wavemaker now for my 24G JBJ and is a excellent choice for the tank. I do not really need a wide spread of the moon light ard my tank but more on a focus to the left and right of the tank. As for the Hagen Marina LED, do you know any local dealer or has to order online

The Hagen Marina is readily available. I bought mine from Pet Mart and I know Iwarna and Reborn carry them as well. ;)
