and i cannot remove the fish for treatment

can i soak the food in Befuran and feed the fish?

nope.

cannot. befuran should not be dosed into the main tank. if u soak food in befuran, some will get in.

and for befurun to work, it has to come in contact with the bacteria it self. it will not work if u feed the fish with befuran soaked food.

and i think befuran is toxic if it gets into the fish's blood? not sure about this but do take note that whatever your fish eat, it will go into the blood

As a matter of interest, I used Befuran to soak my zoa that was infected by zoa pox.

Coralpedia recommand using Furan2 but i can't find that so i used Befuran.

After soaking for 20mins, I put the zoa back in main tank.

It has been 2 weeks and everything is still okay.

For info only. Not suggesting anyone try it
