Lighting requirement for 3 ft tank

Hi..what's e lighting requirement for 3x2x2 tank?is 4x39w T5 with 2 supersun 12000k and 2 blue good enuff? Mainly keeping zoas and some softies..Does RBTA require strong lighting?

should be enough liao coz thou height is 2' but I believe water dun fill up to brim right?

Anyway can always opt for stronger ones as I feel it's always better to overkill...

Hi brother,

Basically, if you keep sps or lps, too much light won't do any harm, even some softy required strong light but not red or orange cauliflower, but keep an eye on unwanted alges grow or tiny bubble mostly on some "dead" rock surface where current don't reach.

yah.....tats what i am facing now....hair algae grow on my rocks and lots of tiny bubble..

running algae scrubber at my sump..hope it helps in reducing the algae....
