Pods in refugium

Hi guys,

A quick question; can pods pass thru those black sponge (that reduce bubbles)?

I am thinking of having a refugium in my sump before the return pump area.

But between them, I am thinking of putting a 2 inch black sponge.

Any advice or recommendation?

Thanks!

Pods are of different sizes. Those of small enough size should be able to pass. I used a canister before and can see pods on the sections of the canister that is after the sponges.

I see. Anyway, I have decided to move the black sponge divider to before the refugium.

This should fix my pods movement problem.

Thanks!
