Bros,

I just wane find out if any of you are finding success with the use of the NPBiopellets. R they that effective that we could stop using Sorb4 phosphate removal media. I know they function differently but I just want to find out if I could stop using Sorb4 altogether if I start to use the NP Biopellets. Any comments or experience to share ? Thanks.

i am running both together, since i find that the NP pallet take care more of the Nitrate than the Phosphate.. You will still need some way to remove the P04 , unless your tank stocking is really low.

if you are running a de-nitrator with deni ball, you need to feed the bacteria with food in order for it to work .Whereas for the NP pallets , you dont need to feed anything in order for it to work. It is mainly a carbon source to reduce the Nitrate and Phosphate when the pallet melt, similar to dosing Voka in your system.

I think shouldnt be a problem to run both together.
