update of poor student tank again

well here it is update of my tank again.. i been quiet less active lately on the forum got alot of work.. but still comes to read.. well learn alot from all of the reefers here rock on!!!

My tank pic now as it is..

specs

all safe.. dun remember the no3 test hehe but ammonia and no 2 is not detected..

ph = 8.2

temperature= 26.3 degree celcius

corals all softies

1 xenia

sea fan

my only 'clams' :P

rest all mushies

fishes

1 straberry dottyback

2 green chromis

1 normal clown

1 tomato clown

1 maroon clown hosting on the xenia

i got one banded shrimp

got some unknown pesky crabs unseen never buy got free from rocks can't get rid of them but they so far did nothing to my tank

one turbo snail to eat algae..

well fuel my nudibranch had died leh but i got lots of babies in there.. and it seem they enjoy feeding on my zoos and polyps now all gone xenia seems well and expanded..

my old tank before....

and one 15w fl blue marine antinic..

your white is how many K ?

not too sure leh.. i think should be 5500k is it?? or 12200k heheh wat i know is most people here say the k dun matter its the wattage.. and how high and reflection u put your light..

......the kelvins do matter...in fact..they matter ALOT.

The wattage does not matter that much..for example..a 24W T5 might actually provide more PAR compared to a 55W PL.

Wattage is only a measure of power consumption...not always directly related to the light intensity given out by the bulb.

Always something more important than fish.
