Evanboi
I’m thinking of getting a tank top for my nano tank (IM peninsula 14) which has a rather odd dimension. Any diy ideas or where I can find a suitable tank top/ mesh cover? Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
SRC Member expat-reefer Posted May 31, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted May 31, 2018 IM sells a kit to build a plastic screen top for their tanks? They also sell pre- built tops for most, maybe all, of their tanks. Check LFS that carry IM tanks.Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
stormrider
Egg crate (Black) can be considered. Easily available in any LFS. It can be break easily and secure with cable ties to fit odd dimension. It is cheap and doesnt block too much of lighting and air ventilation to be consider as alternative. It may not look great though. Just my suggestion. SRC Member MarCal Posted June 5, 2018 SRC Member Share Posted June 5, 2018 I did this for my 2 footer. Bought acrylic meant for tank partition, if not wrong. Then cut it to size. Place it on tank with cover clips holder. Best part.... cheap n serves its purpose well

May try cutting acrylic sheets and drilling holes instead. Bought some tank cover holder clips through taobao .Sent from Singapore Reef Club mobile app
SRC Supporter SubzeroLT Posted June 5, 2018 SRC Supporter Share Posted June 5, 2018 DD Jump Guards are quite nice as well. Rigid & neat. Not too expensive. Quote Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/mysliceofnature/

SRC Supporter SubzeroLT Posted July 30, 2018 SRC Supporter Share Posted July 30, 2018 I'm aware that Madpetz or ReefmarketSG has them. You can facebook message them to confirm. Other retailers probably carry them too but i'm not 100% sure. Quote Facebook : https://www.facebook.com/mysliceofnature/
