Bro,

For this no need to DIY.

Just buy a mogul socket same as MH and fix it up .

Then connect to your power supply and it just work.

is 120 - 180 deg view angle, 3W, current is 0.25A

The shop is at 3rd floor, and the owner is from Hong kong.

The basement shop(next to staircase) selling at S$85 for 12 piece.

How many bulb is there ? it seem like even to get a good sets of LEDs for D.I.Y is going to be costly as well...

hrmm .. 250mA sounds weird. I drive my Luxeon V at 700mA and K2 at 1000mA. Typical Luxeon III are driven at 700mA.

You might have bought a luxeon I which is a 1watt LED.

You will need a current regulated powersupply not voltage regulated like normal transformers

Angle wise is ok. Try to get 0.75 ~ 1A , 3 watt LED.

after read thru the datasheet..

it mention, if no heatsink is attach together, the current will

never over 0.3A, therefore is correct.

And also base on the photo, the LED I got was Luxeon V.

Luxeon V actually have 4 dies inside, please take a closer look. Luxeon V are also very expensive so not likely you will get 1 at that price.

Product Information

This MR16 utilizes 3X1.5W SSC LED that is capable of producing up to 300 Lumen (about a 20 watt halogen or 35 watt incandescent bulb). In addition, we use a constant current driver making this bulb more efficient and more reliable.The body is made on cast aluminum that releases the heat from the LED and the driver. Finally, the optical grade polycarbonate collimator allows light transmission at 45°beam angle.

This bulb is available in 3000K (warm white) and 6000K (cool white).

Be careful what you read about the 2x3 watt or 3x3 watt MR16. The body of the MR16 is just too small to release the heat generated by the LED. As a result, it shorten the life and reduce the light output of the LED.

LED bulbs are compatible with all types of magnetic transformers but not all electronic transformers. Many electronic transformers require a minimum load which is greater than that provided by LED bulbs. LED bulbs will usually not work properly (no light output, flickering, and strobing) in fixtures that have integral electronic transformers in each fixture. We recommend changing the power LED power supply which can be purchase in our website.

In addition, many standard Track Light power supplies will produce voltages as high as 16 with little or no load (LED bulbs provide little load). You must make sure that the voltage of your existing power supply does not exceed 14 Volts with the LED bulbs installed.
