winger24
Dear all, my friend is bringing back some fresh frozen marine arctic copepods from Iceland. devil.gif Harvested by their research vessel off the Greenland Sea The same as what you get from reeds mariculture's Arcti-pods only difference is its freshly frozen. Supposedly pollutants free as they are from deep water feeding on only marine algae. Haven't decide on how much to ask him to da pao for me yet. Anyone interested can pm me your details so that i can keep you in the loop.
winger24
To all those that pmed me. What i know is the pods will be brought back in 10kg slabs packed with dry ice. So when you do get it, it will be almost as fresh as from the ocean no longer then 1 week pre-frozen So most prob i'll cut into smaller slabs for you all. Price wise once i get the details i will pm you all. Will surely be cheaper then the reeds bottled arctic pods. If this turns out well, it might as well be a good staple for our fishes and corals. winger24
i am curious, what are these pods for? given they are dead, most likely cant be used for fry feeding right? These pods are 3-4mm in size. Somehow it triggers better feeding response in fishes. Smaller then brine or mysis shrimp, more nutritious then cyclopeeze. Price wise surely cheaper then our $30/330gram frozen cyclopeeze.
