  3. Absolutely right that check valves can fail. Mine failed a number times resulting in flood to sump tank. Have to do monthly test to "dislodge " the ball which got stuck very often. You got to hear the "thump" sound as confirmation that the ball has locked into position every time you shut the return pump. If no thump sound then got to on n off a few more times for the ball to dislodged n locked in position.

  7. HI Bro KenYee. Those bend pipes and joints which not shown in the pictures actually can be accessible from another compartment which didnt show in the pictures. Furthermore those joints are fully glue which is not mean for any changes. Removing the top part will allow it to be transfer when needed. Thanks for your suggestion. I'm not using any top up tank as i'm doing water change weekly. For those who knows me, will see me often weekly at pasir ris lfs as now DI units not DIY yet. Hehe...

  9. The project stopped now at the completed cabinet will pending for the custom tank order approval release from my FTO. I have not taken any picture on the cabinet with all the side laminated with formica... Probably the next updates which I have would be in Jan 2014. This delay also due to my newly task and commitment to my families... Apologize for the delay. In fact I'm also DIY the lighting using LEDs aside from the cabinet. My main obstacles are relocating the current tank to new position as the existing position will be use for the new tank and also my piping and trunking fo

  11. Can I suggest something? The horizontal beams is not strong if u mount it this way. Is better if it is sited onto the vertical beam.
