  1. Am quite sure pic 2 are majano anemones.. they will move around your tank for that perfect spot and can propagate easily
  2. Looking for pipe organ frag. Do drop me a PM if you got any to sell ^^' Thanks ^^'
  3. If you really need to buy pods, maybe can also refer to one of our sponsors' thread
  4. why not get a RO/DI system? For a tank this size, in the long run, it's more economical then buying distill water for top up.
  5. 200ppm is very very high...unless it's supposed to be 200ppb instead =P if using the regular salifert PO4 test for that batch of water should be able to tell there's phospahte already
  6. i saw some red ones lots of AOI zoas at Iwarna if anyone interested
  7. 1000L/hr will be 25 times turn over. I will say it's defnitely not too much. If you just want to keep some simple zoas, shrooms and maybe some LPS should not be a problem at all. They can definitely take more flow than that ; just don't keep them under direct flow. Your flow is mainly determined by the type of corals you intend to keep.
  8. totally agree! especially for tight spaces where it's hard to reach by hand or other magnetic cleaners/scrubbers
  9. Nice tank and scaping! unlike me.. just totally hopeless in scaping. and nicely made video too
  10. I guess depends on what brand you want to buy.. D-D.. TLF..NP? =P
  11. I don't think it's advisable to add medication into your main tank to treat corals or fishes. Unless really really no choice due to some special circumstances. Best is to put in that extra effort to isolate them for treatment.
  12. It says " Note: The above allowances are for baggage of travellers only and are not applicable to items shipped by cargo." You can hand carry/check in if it's within the limit stated and you have the proper endorsement if it falls within CITES listing( Which majority of corals are) Ordering online does not fall within this category stated.
  13. Yupz. Only these 2 colors. They are safe for saltwater usage? Anyway nice DIY bkdrop you got there!
  14. I think it might be doable for 1 - 2 shrimps plus a few small pieces of LR. Main concern is whether you have previously added medication to treat livestock in your FW tank. Just like FW shrimps they are sensitive to the presence of copper. Anyway the important thing is to go slow and plan well.
  15. You mean Great Stuff Expandable Foam? I used them to make backings for terrariums Can get them from Home-Fix , Marina Square outlet. Not every outlet sells them. ^^"
  16. Your tank size is possible but not easy and very limiting in terms of what you can keep. Small tank means small volume thus it's relatively harder to maintain stable water parameters. So I guess more sensitive livestock is not advisable. The size of your tank also limits the amount and size of livestock you can keep. More often we will find ourselves wanting to buy more livestock ( LS) but our tank may not have the space. Then probably you end up getting an upgrade soon. So I guess it's better to get the biggest tank you can afford and comfortable with to start. So I guess it boils down to what you plan to keep and how discipline you are. Maybe can share with us what you intend to keep ?
  17. I have seen most of them at ah beng's shop now and then, maybe can keep a look out there also
  18. Looks like a red egg crab ( Atergatis integrrimus) to me
