  8. Hi Steve, did u get the pricing from the Meanwell distributor? Cheers JC
  9. Interesting. Maybe they are from the deep sea thus too used to staying in cave where they hang upside down? JC
  10. The LEDs need DC. Our home power supply are on AC. Thus u need a AC-DC converter + DC constant driver (power adapter+ buckpuck) or a AC - DC converter that have build in constant driver like those from Meanwell. Cheers JC
  11. Yup. We can check in with 3 litres of water for personal ornamental fish import. But, I wun try it for any fish that cost > $500 buck. Nvr know how rough the check in staff will handle the package. I wonder if we can box them up properly and label "live fish" on it. JC
  12. Yup. These are the constant driver from Meanwell. if u need more info on them, u probably want to refer to the this thread in nano-reef. http://www.nano-reef.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=183692 Lots on discussions. Cheers JC

  17. Can Singapore custom allow us to bring in the fishes? JC
  18. Not much use also cos we now cannot hand carry them back. Check in is kinda too risky. U have any better idea how to import them in? Cheers JC
  19. Mine is still on going process. Sherman is the guru in this field. JC
  20. It will be nice to know. For my application, I'm using Recom drivers + AC-DC converter. Cheers JC
  21. Paisey, saw wrongly. I mistook the noise as the current output. The output current has a max of 5A. JC
  22. The ALD seems interesting with a limitation of max 480mA which is pretty low for high output LED application. If u are looking at ALD, I suggest u look at the meanwell series unless the price diff is alot. Cheers JC
  23. Head to what the local call "goldfish street". Take the MTR and alight on "prince edward" station (one stop after mongkok). The "goldfish street" is listed on the map and is at exit B2. Cheers JC
  24. Ya. I'm thinking of trying them on my main tank. Should be a safer bet since its 200Gallon mixed reef. JC
